Yes. Texas law requires a veterinarian to authorize chiropractic care for animals before treatment can begin. We make this process as simple as possible and work directly with your vet's office on your behalf. If you need help finding a veterinarian who is familiar with and supportive of chiropractic care, we maintain a list of chiropractic friendly vets in the area.

Dr. Katie serves horse owners throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the surrounding communities. Reach out and we will let you know if your location is within our service area.

We generally recommend that your horse not be worked hard immediately before or after their adjustment. Some horses may be a little sore after their visit. Dr. Katie will give you specific guidance based on your horse's condition and care plan during your visit.

Every horse is different. During the first visit Dr. Katie will complete a full evaluation and provide a custom care plan with a recommended visit schedule based on your horse's specific needs, workload, and goals.

Yes. Chiropractic care works well alongside conventional veterinary treatment. Dr. Katie coordinates directly with your veterinarian to make sure your horse's care is fully integrated and that everyone on the care team is on the same page.

Dr. Katie works with horses across all disciplines including barrel racing, cutting, dressage, hunter jumper, trail, and pleasure horses. If your horse moves, competes, or works, chiropractic care may be able to help them do it better and more comfortably.
