Do I need a veterinary authorization before my first visit?
Yes. Texas law requires a licensed veterinarian to authorize chiropractic care for animals before treatment can begin. We make this process as simple as possible and are happy to help if you run into any questions or resistance from your vet's office. If you need help finding a veterinarian who is supportive of chiropractic care, we maintain a map of chiropractic friendly veterinarians in the DFW area.
Do you accept pet insurance?
We do provide superbills that you can submit to your provider for potential reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance company about your specific coverage before your first visit.
How do I know if my animal needs chiropractic care?
If something feels off with your animal, trust that instinct. The most common reason people call us is for behavioral or performance change. We are happy to discuss your animals specific needs during your complimentary discovery call.
How many visits will my animal need?
Every animal is different. During your first visit Dr. Katie will complete a full evaluation and provide a custom care plan based you + your animal's specific needs and goals. We recommend owners budget for at least 4-6 visits to know if our services are a good solution.
Where are you located and do you travel?
Our office is located at 1445 MacArthur Drive Suite 264 in Carrollton, TX. Dogs and small animals are seen at our Carrollton location. For horses and other large animals, Dr. Katie offers mobile on-site service throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer in-house financing and package options to make ongoing care accessible for your family. Dr. Katie will walk you through the available options before your first visit is complete.
